We needed to add fenders back to the box, so we got these fiberglass ones and cut to fit. Larry then bolted them on and fiberglassed them to the box. |

I wasn't happy with the front fender, and didn't like the one Larry picked out to replace it. (I'm a woman, what do you expect?) Finally, Larry just cut the original fender to suit my taste. |
Fast forward to finished box ... see how nicely the fenders are molded in? Larry did the rough work, but our friend and painter Kevin did the smoothing and finish work. I stuck with the original color (the same as our Dodge truck!) of the bike. Thanks Kevin, you're a pro and a good friend! |
My husband, my mechanic, my hero. |
Larry bungee corded on a tank for the trial run. It was already looking cool to me. But after a quick (and wild) ride, I decided to wait until it was finished! |

She rides as good as she looks! I couldn't believe how great the trike handled. |

Finished! My first ride was to Buckhorn, Missouri for the yearly event, and the box held our tent, fold-up chairs, clothes, and a cooler of beer nicely. I decided on a taller windshield and we extended the pipe out under the box after a few LOUD rides. We had to adjust the seat and a few things, but now it looks as pictured. Thank you Larry! You worked early mornings before work and late into the night and weekends to get this done for me. I've always thought you were the BEST, and now I'm sure!
And so Kat and the Trike road off into the sunset. Don't you just love happy endings? I'll most likely post some new/better pictures soon. Come back and visit! - Trikat
